How is your summer going so far? For Cross Creek Ranch residents, it’s three months of fun in the sun with pools, paddling and parties. Here’s a quick guide to summer at Cross Creek Ranch.

Diving into Fun

Our community sports not one, not two, but four pool complexes. Our most popular complex is Adventure Island. Adults and kids love sliding down our 140-foot waterslide but that’s only the beginning. There’s a splash pad for tots, lap lanes, tanning shelves and more. Greenthread Park offers a resort-style pool and water slides, as well as a playground, pavilion, sand volleyball, event lawn, and trails. Flewellen Creek Pool is a tranquil spot for fitness-minded residents to swim laps. Comfortable loungers are available for those working on their summer reading list. The Landing, our newest complex, is home to our fourth pool, as well as tennis courts, play structures, a clubhouse and open green spaces.

Speaking of Fitness

During the summer, Cross Creek Ranch residents love to take their fitness regime outdoors. Our trails and parks are interspersed with fitness stations. Residents can stop at any of these to get in some strength training while on a morning jog or evening walk. On days where the Texas heat is just a little too hot, residents enjoy working out at one of our two fitness centers. Rivaling any gym, the 6,500-square-foot fitness center at the Welcome Center offers state-of-the-art cardio equipment, weights and exercise classes. You can also work with a personal trainer to develop the fitness regime that works best for you. The Landing, our new recreation complex, offers gym rats 840 square feet of pure bliss.

Explore the Outdoors

Nature is our middle name and summer is a great time to explore the outdoors at Cross Creek Ranch. Our younger residents love looking for birds, amphibians and other wildlife at the Polishing Pond and along Flewellen Creek. Adults get out their kayaks and spend afternoons and evenings paddling for relaxation. Summer wildflowers dot our trails. We’ve made sure your outdoor adventures are as comfortable as possible with rest areas and shaded benches. Parks and playgrounds allow kids to hang out with their school friends. Even Fidos have a park where they can unleash their energy.

Where’s the Party?

Summer activities aren’t fun unless you can share them with family and friends. That’s why our Lifestyle Director plans plenty of things to do. Residents enjoy pool parties, movies under the stars, field trips and more. There are family-friendly activities and ones purely for adults. They are also great opportunities to make new friends.
