Breaking Ground On New Amenities

Who says you can have too many amenities?

Not us — and that’s why we have broken ground on Camp Flewellen, a 4-acre complex that will have direct access to Flewellen Creek and the expansive Cross Creek Ranch trail system.

Camp Flewellen will have indoor and outdoor spaces, integrating nature with a sense of community. It is tentatively scheduled to open in late summer/early fall of 2022. Residents can expect:

• 3,300-square-foot clubhouse that can be used for exercise classes, community events, and private events 
• Large patio for resident gatherings
• Flewellen Creek viewing area
• An event lawn
• Community art piece
• Playground
• Campfire area
• Outdoor game area
• Shade structure
• Restrooms
• Bike racks
• Ample open space for play 

Camp Flewellen will be located along Morgan Spur Drive near the Creek Trace and Bonterra neighborhoods.

This newest amenity joins a long list of water parks, playgrounds, sports fields and courts, and more that Cross Creek Ranch residents enjoy. Nature plays a leading role in our community, with the 150-acre Flewellen Creek as the star. The carefully restored nature area is home to wildlife and serves as a natural backdrop for such amenities as the Arbor Park sports park and The Links at Flewellen Creek 18-hole disc golf course. The 50-acre Polishing Pond is another natural habitat where residents can watch for birds and spy wildlife.
