When it comes to tennis, our teams had the advantage this year, and we are very proud of their accomplishments.
Our women’s Crazy Balls team finished in first place in the West 3.5 Division. The team is made up of women from our community who enjoy playing some fun, competitive tennis while making friends and even burning a few calories.
The ladies of our Cross Creek Ranch Angels team have really come together and are currently one of the top teams in Division B of the West Houston Ladies Tennis Association (WHLTA). This group is a hard-court league made up of four divisions.
The CCR Simply Smashing Team had a great 2018, finishing second in the league during the spring and first in the league after the summer season. They also had the opportunity to participate in the Houston Citywide Playoffs. The team is currently in second place as the fall season ends.
Finally, we are happy to announce that our junior teams program through Aspen Tennis Academy had a successful first month. The academy was founded by Ashlee Gardner, a former Division 1 College Tennis Player. Classes are held in our Arbor Park complex. The fall 10-week program is coming to an end, but the kids will be back on the courts in the spring.
Congratulations to all of our teams. We LOVE you!
