Italian Maid Café Serves Up Music on the Patio

If music be the food of love, then Italian Maid Café has date night covered with the return of the Music on the Patio series.

Okay, the popular summer series isn’t just for couples — although it is pretty romantic. Families enjoy the sounds of a well-tuned guitar while devouring the café’s deftly crafted salads, sandwiches and entrees, too.

Concerts take place once a month on Saturdays from 5-7:30 p.m. This year’s musical line-up is as delectable as the restaurant’s “crespelles” — savory crepes stuffed with meats, cheeses and vegetables.

Blues musician Randy Burns will open the series on May 27. Other planned performances include guitarist and vocalist Dave Miley on June 24, jazz guitarist Rom Ryan on July 15, and guitarist Brian Rutledge on Aug. 26.

Italian Maid Café is located within Cross Creek Ranch 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane, In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, the café serves up weekend brunches and take-out meals.

Operating hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
