“When buyers come to Cross Creek Ranch, they’re immediately taken by our winding creeks and lakes, native grasses, wetlands and hike-and-bike trails,” notes Rob Bamford, general manager for the 3,200-acre Fort Bend County master-planned community.

A project of The Johnson Development Corp., Cross Creek Ranch’s approach to “sustainable” living has led to the planting of more than 30,000 trees since 2006. Moreover, close to half of its 1,300 homes are adjacent to native naturalized landscape, designated trails and parks.

Award-winning builders, a variety of home styles, proximity to the Energy Corridor, outstanding schools and world-class amenities also contribute to the appeal of Cross Creek Ranch, Bamford says.

Families in Cross Creek Ranch enjoy the Cross Creek Ranch Adventure Island Water Park, a second resort-style pool, Flewellen Creek Park, miles of hike-and-bike trails along with winding creeks and lakes, a fitness center and sports complex with tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball court and playgrounds for all ages. The community also is home to the Flewellen Creek disc golf course and a one-acre Canine Commons Dog Park.

Cross Creek Ranch is a 3,200-acre master-planned community in Fulshear, just minutes west of the Grand Parkway off FM 1093 which recently surpassed its 1,300th home sale. Recognized as Houston’s 2010 Master-Planned Community of the Year by the Greater Houston Builders Association, Cross Creek Ranch offers amenities including the Cross Creek Water Park, miles of hike-and-bike trails, the fenced, one-acre Canine Commons dog park with separate areas dedicated for larger and smaller breeds. The community also is home to a spacious fitness center and sports complex with tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball court and playgrounds for all ages.
