Fulshear Freedom Fest Set for July 2nd

The City of Fulshear is hosting its annual 4th of July weekend Freedom Fest beginning 6:30 pm Saturday, July 2, in Downtown Fulshear. Festivities begin with a parade through Fulshear, and fireworks to end the night. Come watch Mayor Kuykendall sing, and if you also want good music "The Starlettes" will perform. There will be a "Church Smackdown" Tae Kwon Do demonstration, camel rides, over 30 booths with vendors and kids events like face painting, a clown, and balloon animals. The Miss Firecracker Contest will also begin at 6:30 pm. The deadline to register your daughters is June 21. You can find the registration form here. The age categories are 2-5, 6-12, and 13-18.
