Tuesday, October 4th was National Night Out at Cross Creek Ranch.
The children were photographed, fingerprinted and DNA ID kits were processed for each child present at the event. We met local police officers and public service officials. NNO is a community-sponsored campaign aimed at building a stronger, safer community through heightened crime prevention awareness, while generating support for local anti-crime programs, strengthening the neighborhood/police community partnerships and encouraging neighbors to get out and meet each other. After all the children went through the identification process, visited with local officers and filled up on great pizza from PEPPERONI'S, everyone went back to their local sections in Cross Creek Ranch for dessert and visited for hours.
