Sky High for Kids Champions Children

Childhood cancer is the No. 1 cause of death for children and adolescents by disease in the U.S. Each year more than 400,000 children globally will be diagnosed with some form of pediatric cancer. In the Houston area, there exists a profound source of hope and support for families grappling with the disease — Sky High for Kids.

The non-profit began as a dream fueled by compassion and determination. Brittany Hebert Franklin, deeply moved by a personal encounter with the devastating impact of childhood cancer, founded the organization to make a tangible difference in the lives of affected families.

Her vision was to create a community of support and to raise the necessary funds for battling this relentless disease. What started as a small initiative quickly blossomed into a powerful movement, driven by Brittany’s unwavering dedication and the collective strength of a compassionate community.
