The sun may be setting on the opportunity for a brand-new home in Cross Creek Ranch, but that hasn’t stopped us from once again being ranked among the 50 top-selling master-planned communities in the nation!
In its annual mid-year report, RCLCO Real Estate Consulting lists Cross Creek Ranch at No. 46, with 222 home sales during the first six months of 2024. This is a 7 percent gain over the same timeframe last year.
This year’s sales have been so brisk, we’ve had several builders sell out of a particular series of floor plans as we continue toward close-out. Home buyers still have plenty of choice, however, with five builders offering floor plans based priced from the $300,000s to more than $700,000 and designed for homesites that range from 40 to 70 feet wide. For 55+ home buyers looking for an active adult neighborhood with exclusive amenities and homes designed for aging in place, there are plenty of choices in Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch.
But fun knows no boundaries at Cross Creek Ranch, and there’s plenty to be had for all who move to the community. There are more than 30 pocket parks and playgrounds and 400 acres of waterways for catch-and-release fishing and canoeing. Keep cool at one of four pools, including Adventure Island with a 140-foot slide. Get back to nature at the 50-acre Polishing Pond or strolling alongside Flewellen Creek, a fully restored nature area that meanders 2 miles through the community. Walk the family Fido along the miles of trails throughout Cross Creek Ranch or let him run free at the Canine Commons dog park. Try your hand at disc golf, tennis, pickleball, baseball, basketball and soccer — there’s even a putting green in the community. And when you want to focus on fitness, you have 6,500 square feet to do so at the onsite fitness center.
Amenities aren’t all that’s appealing about living in Cross Creek Ranch. We have a lifestyle team dedicated to providing a wide range of events for all ages. A pickleball social, CPR class, wine tasting, Mutt Strutt, Toddler Time, fishing contest and Picnic in the Park are just some of the upcoming events.
Two school districts serve our 3,200-acre community — Katy ISD and Lamar CISD. Several schools are onsite — including Randle Elementary, which opens in August. Others are nearby.
