The recently opened Newmark model home in Cross Creek Ranch does a lot of things well, but what it does best is showcase the many options buyers have available to them when looking for a new home in Houston. Options that go beyond extending the patio or exchanging the dining room for a study.
The 2,385-square-foot model at 29030 Meadow Terrace Drive is the Navarro floor plan, one of nearly two dozen designs in the builder’s Portrait Series. Designed for ultimate flexibility, the series offers options that are beautiful, functional and able to fit nearly every need.
The options start with the elevation and for the model, Newmark has gone with Elevation D, a choice that packs a charming punch with wood siding. The siding can be paired with stucco or brick for a different look.
The interior highlights some of the series’ most striking options. Chief among them is the spectacular arched vaulted ceiling with a floor-to-ceiling window in the family room. In addition to filling the home with natural light, the window offers a spectacular view of the backyard. The vaulted ceiling and oversized window combination is one of three options available with this floor plan.
The main bath is another area where lifestyle choices can be accommodated. The model features the optional bath with an enlarged shower and garden tub, but you can choose to lose the tub entirely. Either way, you still get dual vanities and a massive walk-in closet.
Additional options featured include a home office in lieu of the formal living room and an extended patio. Glass-fronted kitchen cabinets and upgraded countertops are also showcased.
Homes in the Portrait Series are priced from the $300,000s and range from 1,646 to 2,799 square feet. Designs include several kitchen, patio, bathroom and game room options.
